Schitovaya Bukhta is a popular destination for surfers and is known as one of the best spots in the world to surf. Sadly, there are a lot of military facilities based at this location. Due to this, surfers must apply for a permit to be able to enjoy the waves. Another reason to not go to this beach is that it houses old nuclear submarines, which are said to leak radiation, which is clearly not healthy. The only people who I suggest taking the risk to go are those who truly love surfing. If you don’t, just don’t go.
