Bikini Atoll has an abundance of marine life and is said to be a great place to dive due to the beauty that lies within these waters. Bikini Atoll is extremely beautiful and unfortunately extremely dangerous. With a lot of marine life comes a lot of sharks, and these waters are infested with them, although that is not where the danger lies. Between 1946 and 1958 this area was a testing ground for nuclear weapons. Although the government has declared the location as safe, there is still a risk, and let’s be real, some risks aren’t worth taking.
