9. Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey – Battle Over Egos

Things did not turn out so well when Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey teamed up for American Idol in 2013 – and perhaps the producers knew that these two were never going to get along from the outset.

With two large egos in one room, things got out of hand – and quick.

According to moviepilot.com, Minaj called Carey a “bitter, insecure woman” and the pair fought during an audition round where Minaj was filmed screaming at the crew. She reportedly said “I told them, I’m not f*cking putting up with her f*cking highness over there.”

Carey wasn’t taking it laying down and mocked Minaj for never hitting the number 1 spot and quipped she was “working in Hell with Satan.”
