7. Allegedly Threatened To Kill Brooke Mueller

It wasn’t a very merry Christmas for Charlie Sheen in 2009 after he was arrested and charged with the second-degree crimes of assault and menacing against his then-wife Brooke Mueller. Sheen, who was the highest-paid television actor in America at the time, was also charged with criminal mischief. According to reports, Sheen allegedly became angry when Mueller started drinking at their rented house in Aspen, Colorado. A row ensued and Sheen reportedly grabbed her throat. Mueller told police that he threatened to kill her saying: “You better be in fear. If you tell anybody, I’ll kill you.” Sheen spent eight hours behind bars at Pitkin County Jail.
