8. Renee Zellweger
Much like Meg Ryan above, Renee Zellweger was a very popular actor in the 90s. Despite appearances in 1994’sThe Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation and 1995’s Empire Records, she wouldn’t break big until 1996 with Jerry Maguire. She’s best known for starring in the Bridget Jones’s Diary films in 2001 and 2004 (with another movie, entitled Bridget Jones’s Baby, filming as we speak). Unlike Ryan, Zellweger has kept her acting calendar full.
However, if you haven’t seen the Bridget Jones movies in a while and you recall Zellweger looking different now compared to then, it’s not just because of age. She barely looks like herself anymore. Many in Hollywood have had a tough time recognizing her. Surprisingly, Zellweger has spoken on the subject (although she’s kept mum about which procedures she’s gotten): “I’m glad folks think I look different! I’m living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I’m thrilled that perhaps it shows.” We’re not quite sure that’s what’s showing, but YDY Renee.
