When you think of one of the toughest things for a father to see their daughter do as a career, adult film star is pretty high on the list. Especially if your name is Laurence Fishburne and you know that your daughter’s career choice is definitely going to become public knowledge.
His daughter Montana was very blunt about why she decided to release Montana Fishburne: An A-List Daughter Makes Her XXX Debut in August 2010, saying “Being in an adult film is not a big deal to me, it’s something I always wanted to do. I have always been comfortable in my body and with my sexuality. I am not in porn to get into acting. I am in p*rn because I wanted to be in p*rn.”
Montana was only 18 years old when she appeared in the video. When he was asked about it in an interview, Laurence feigned ignorance to the situation, but others have reported that it has caused a significant rift between the two. When she was asked about it, Montana said, “I hear through relatives that he’s upset but I haven’t talked to him directly for him to tell me his feelings.”<
She ended up regretting her decision, saying in a later interview in 2013, that “I don’t encourage people to go into the porn industry. You’re not going to be famous, or be a movie star. You may end up having a really sucky life. While that seems like a happy ending, there were supposedly reports back in 2014 that she had elected to start working at a gentleman’s club.
