He was put in charge of three ministries, power, housing and works. When Buhari gave him these ministries, many said it was too much for one man to handle.
On several occasions, he has been called the minister of darkness by Nigerians because power supply is yet to improve. Instead of improving power supply, they increased electricity tariff.
The former governor of Lagos state had said any responsible government would fix power in six months. It has been more than six months since he was given the responsibility as minister of power and power supply has not improved. We are still struggling to fix it. Hopefully, we will get it right soon.
