7. Peter Mokaba Stadium – $150 Million
Peter Mokaba stadium in located Polokwane, South Africa. This stadium played host to a number of games at the 2010 FIFA World Cup it has a capacity of 45,500 making it one of the biggest stadiums in South Africa. It was named after Peter Mokaba, former leader of the ANC Youth League. The Polokwane City-owned stadium cost $150 million in construction making it the seventh most expensive stadium in Africa. It has also played host of Rugby games.
