While most of these actresses/singers/superwomen keep extra thin to hide their true stature in photos, real-life doesn’t lie. Short is short. Take Jada Pinkett Smith, for example. Both of her kids are already taller than her. How sad is that? Would you believe that some of these celebs are only 5 feet tall? Some of these women on this list really surprised us. Is there a more well-known 5’ tall pop diva on planet Earth? I don’t think so. She is also known as the shortest American Idol judge in history. But she wasn’t always a diva. Nope, this queen of pop started her career as a cheerleader. Guess who she cheered for… the Los Angeles Lakers. The 1980’s was the birth of MTV and thus music videos. And since Abdul could work those moves on the court she became a very sought after choreographer for many music videos. This 54 –year-old has had six number one singles and she has also won a Grammy. The world’s shortest American Idol judge left the show after season 8. I guess she was just tired of arguing who was shorter, her or Ryan Seacrest. Just kidding. Ryan is a little taller, but not by much.

America’s favorite I Know What You Did Last Summer actress is another shorty in Hollywood. That’s right. Jennifer Love Hewitt doesn’t even reach 5’ 2”. Hewitt was first noticed by the masses when she played Sarah Reeves Merrin on the Fox show Party of Five , in the late 90’s. However, the world took notice of JLove when she starred in the teen-slasher thriller I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1997. Then, again in 1998 in the sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. From there, Hewitt went back to television where portrayed Melinda Gordon on CBS’s Ghost Whisperer . In fact, she was nominated and won two Saturn Awards in ’07 and ’08 for her ghost whispering role. Hewitt also tried her hand at music and released four albums. However, most agree that she should stick to acting.

Lady Gaga has one heck of an appearance, but she is a mere 5’ 1”. Actually, her real name isn’t even Lady Gaga, if you can believe it. Gaga’s real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. Whoa, that’s a mouthful. But Gaga isn’t just a singer. She’s a phenomenal actress. In fact, before she dropped out to pursue her music career, Gaga studied at NYU’s Tish School of the Arts. The world took notice of Gaga in 2008 when she released her hit album The Fame . Gaga is only 30 years old, but she sure is talented. So talents that, she won a Golden Globe for her performance on FX’s American Horror Story: Hotel . Moreover, this little ball of talent became the first woman to have four number one albums. No wonder she was asked to headline the Super Bowl LI halftime show, which she rocked. She may be little, but she is amazing nonetheless.

This gorgeous Hollywood actress is 5’ tall, which most people can tell when she stands next to her giant hubby in pictures. You have no doubt seen this little beauty in tons of commercials, as she has appeared in over 50 of them. She started out when she was small, though. Yes, smaller than she is now. In fact, Panettiere started acting when she was just 11 months old. Hayden got massive recognition when she played Claire Bennet on the NBC show Heroes from 2006-2010. Currently, she is the star of the hit show Nashville where she plays Juliette Barnes. It was this role that landed Hayden two Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actress. According to Forbes, Hayden earned around $2 million in 2007. She has also been nominated for a Grammy and appeared in video games. Hayden is married and has one child. She’s not letting her size keep her down.

The ‘ Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ starlet is only 5’ 1”. However, like Lady Gaga, she also attended Tish School of the Art’s at NYU. But she didn’t just start out making films. Then when she was 9, the Lionel and Wife Brenda adopted Nicole. Moreover, Michael Jackson was Nicole’s godfather. Richie achieved massive fame when starred with Paris Hilton on Fox’s The Simple Life . However, around season 5, Richie and Hilton were both facing jail time over DUI’s charges, so the show ended after season 5. However, this little nugget was sentenced to four days in jail. Anytime I turn on the FM radio I hear her hit song Side to Side . I don’t think we have seen the last of this not-so Grande singer.
