4 She’ll Learn How To Smile And Wave… And That’s It
For someone like Meghan Markle, she might quickly grow frustrated with this. As an actress, yes, she’s used to this kind of attention, but she doesn’t want to be a robotic doll at the same time. She wants to do something, say something and be part of the dialogue. But as Prince Harry’s wife, she’ll have to learn to stay mute. And that might not last very long for someone so outspoken like Meghan.
3 She Might Get Homesick
This has got to be the toughest part of Meghan Markle’s new life. Sure, she’ll have a life that’s full of royal jewels and all the finest luxuries that life can offer, but at the same time there’s a chance that she’ll be utterly homesick. As a member of the royal family, she won’t be able to grab the next flight out of London to visit her friends and family back home in Los Angeles. She won’t have those kind of choices anymore. She’ll be stuck in London, whether she likes it or not.
What’s more, Meghan won’t be able to make any Starbucks coffee runs without getting attention. She won’t be able to shop at Whole Foods or Target. And she certainly won’t have the California coastline or In-N-Out at her fingertips anymore.
2 She’ll Have To Drop Her Accent
Not only will Meghan Markle get homesick, but she’ll also have to drop her American accent, too. But for Meghan, that might not be very hard. After all, she’s a trained actress. She’s used to being someone that she isn’t because she’s been doing that in front of the television cameras for years now.
But then again, it might not be very hard for Meghan to switch from American English to British English. After all, she’ll be spending a lot of time with her new husband Prince Harry and his family. Sooner or later she’ll be dropping the cookies for biscuits. She’ll also be strolling on footpaths and not sidewalks. She’ll slowly but surely also lose her California twang to sound more posh with her pronunciation. It’s all part of her princess transformation.
