Just shortly after Davido announced the endorsement deal on his social media page, Mercy Aigbe shared the same photo on her Instagram page and captioned it:

“Awwww this has got to be sweetest thing I have seen on line today!…A good man empowers and supports His Woman all the way! ❤️”

Photos from the signing session has left many fans in awe and just recently, Mercy Aigbe shared a post on social media, reacting to the display of love and support from the OBO to his one and only assurance.

Immediately she made the post on her Instagram page, some of her fans are already insinuating that the actress was throwing a shade at her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry.

It is quite obvious that Mercy Aigbe and her husband are not yet on good talking terms despite rumours of the duo being spotted together recently at a public event.

If you recollect, just shortly after the wedding of Nollywood actor and his wife, Gabriel Afolayan, Lanre Gentry had congratulated them and wished them the best of life and in his post he mentioned that this was a good woman not the prostitute that we pretend as wife.

“My brother congratulations on your wedding, I pray to your marriage and I know God have made your wife the best, not the prostitute that we pretend as wife, ones again congratulations @gabbylucciii God we protect your home in Jesus name,” he wrote.

He was probably referring to Mercy Aigbe in that post, which was an indication that all isnt well with the couple.

However, the beautiful actress took to her Instagram page on Monday, April 16, 2018, where she posted a photo of her battered face exactly a year ago when it was reported that her estranged husband, Lane Gentry had assaulted her.
