2 Felipe de Alba and ZsaZsa Gabor – 24 hours
ZsaZsa Gabor was a Hungarian-born American actress and socialite. The winner of the Miss Hungary beauty pageant in 1936, her European flair and inherent charm and grace made her a much sought-after actress after she moved to the United States in 1941 when she was 24 years old. She had nine husbands, including one with Felipe de Alba, a Mexican lawyer and character actor whom she married in 1983. Unfortunately, Gabor’s previous union to Michael O’ Hara had not yet been properly dissolved at that time, so her marriage to de Alba was immediately declared invalid and annulled. The two never stayed together.
1 Rudolph Valentino and Jean Acker – 6 hours
Rudolph Valentino and Jean Acker were stars of Hollywood during the silent film era. Their relationship, however, created a lot of noise. The two had a two-month courtship before getting married on November 6, 1919. Acker regretted it almost immediately after saying “I do” and locked Valentino out of their hotel room. With the marriage never consummated, Valentino immediately filed for divorce. It probably got him so frustrated that he married another woman before the divorce with Acker was even finalized. Valentino was sued for bigamy even as Acker insisted that she was still the rightful “Mrs. Rudolph Valentino.” The two eventually made up before he died in 1926. Acker turned out to be a lesbian who spent the rest of her life with Chloe Carter. She died in 1978. In hindsight, Valentino was probably that good with women that even a lesbian fell for his charms, even for just a few hours.
