It’s just painful that after university, my daughter will get married – Mercy Aigbe

The Edo born and influential Nollywood star, Mercy Aigbe, in a chat with Sunday Scoop, revealed that her daughter attending university in another country was a bit emotional for her.

In her own words, she said, 

“Her absence hasn’t really been easy. We’ve been together for 17 years before she had to go to university. Letting her go is very emotional for me. I still miss her a lot. She’s a big girl now and she’s starting her own journey in life. I have brought her up well; I have inculcated the values I want her to live by in her. I have given her the foundation and I wish her the best. She’s always in my prayers. It’s just painful that after university, she’ll probably get married.”
