The United States of America Diplomatic Security Service DSS on Thursday in a tweet via their Twitter handle clarify that they are different from the Nigerian Department of State’s Service DSS.
This comes after the regular habit of mentioning DSS by Nigerians on Twitter.
The US DSS protect U.S. embassies/consulates and investigate U.S. passport & visa fraud.
Below is the tweet from the handle, it read,
“@StateDeptDSS belongs to the U.S. Diplomatic Security Service. We are a U.S. federal law enforcement service that is part of @StateDept. We protect U.S. embassies/consulates & investigate U.S. passport & visa fraud. We are not Nigeria’s Department of State Services”
