The First Lady of Nigeria, Dr. Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari has finally reunited with her daughter after observing the 14-days self-isolation after returning from the United Kingdom which is one of the high-risk countries for the spread of Coronavirus.
Aisha’s daughter was part of the last set of travelers to gain entry into the country two weeks ago before the Federal Government penultimately placed travel restrictions from countries with more than 1000 confirmed cases of Coronavirus before shutting down all international airports in the country.
The first lady took to her official Twitter page to express how excited she was to have her daughter in her arms.
She wrote:
It is a thing of joy & gratitude to Almighty God to reunite with my daughter after she had been in isolation for 14 days immediately she landed in Nigeria. While I’m wishing all those infected for a speedy recovery, I pray for the end of this pandemic.#AbujaScaleUp
Taking a cue from the first lady’s tweet, a strange hashtag ‘#AbujaScaleUp” was added to the tweet. Could this be a way of telling the Nigerians we need mass testing for Coronavirus?
