Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries International, has issued a challenge to Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar, urging her to substantiate her allegations against him in a court of law.
Through his lawyer, Dr. Abdul Mahmud, Suleman maintains that Abubakar should provide evidence for her claims during the trial of a 1 billion Naira defamation lawsuit that was filed against her last year.
In a statement released by his lawyer on Friday, it was asserted that Abubakar had unjustly attacked, maligned, and defamed Apostle Suleman in an attempt to extort money from him.
The lawyer assured the clergyman that justice would be pursued through the legal process to address the series of defamatory statements made by the actress.
The court trial, initially scheduled for a previous date, has been rescheduled to June 6th and 7th, 2023, as Halima Abubakar and her legal counsel failed to appear in court.
