Popular Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has thrown a shade at the Nigerian government over the proposed military intervention in Niger Republic.
He did this during an Instagram live session.
Recall that Tinubu had on Friday, August 4, written to the National Assembly, seeking the lawmakers’ support for the implementation of Resolutions of ECOWAS on the political situation in Niger Republic.
However, the Senate rejected the proposal and advised the Nigerian president to adopt diplomacy in addressing the toppling of democratic government in Niger Republic.
In an Instagram live video, Burna Boy mocked the Nigerian government, stating that they want to go to war when there is no fuel in the country.
The singer wondered how the soldiers will reach the battlefield without fuel.
“Fuel no dey, you wan go fight war. How you wan take reach battlefield”. He said.
This led to laughter among his friends.
