Afrobeat singer Tiwa Savage recently expressed her frustration over the increase in fuel prices and the scarcity of fuel in Nigeria shortly after her arrival.
Like many other celebrities, she took to social media to lament the situation and criticized fuel station owners and dealers for hoarding fuel.
Tiwa Savage, who had just returned from Brazil, shared her disappointment and vowed to return to the South American country due to the challenges she faced upon arriving in Nigeria.
Within an hour of her arrival, she encountered difficulties, including a flat tire on one of her cars and the other being stuck in a fuel queue.
Her outcry resonated with fellow celebrities such as Timanya, Tacha, Speed Darlington, and others who also expressed their concerns about the scarcity of fuel and the subsequent price hikes.
The timing of these challenges, just 48 hours after President Tinubu’s inauguration, further fueled the frustration among the public.
