The All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign team made a stop at Minna, Niger state for its rally yesterday, the party’s presidential aspirant, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) visited the hilltop mansion of former military head of state, General Ibrahim Babangida.

Buhari who was accompanied to Babangida’s mansion by several stalwarts of the opposition party was received personally by the ever smiling gap-toothed General.
Babanginda who addressed the gathering at his house said “called for peaceful conduct during the elections urging contestants to be magnanimous in victory”
The Minna-born General also endorsed the aspiration of Buhari saying “Some of us are fading away but he (Buhari) is still going strong. We will support you in this cause.”
APC Chieftains who accompanied Buhari to Babangida’s house include Vice-Presidential aspirant of the party, Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo, the Director-General of the Buhari/Osinbanjo Campaign Organisation and Rivers State Governor, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, former chairman of the APC, Chief Bisi Akande, former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former governor of Osun state, Chief Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Senatorial Aspirant in Kogi State, Hon. Dino Melaye among others.
It can be recalled that late December, 2014, IBB pledged his loyalty to GEJ and promised to back him up if need be but now, he is giving his support to GMB.
