4. Prince William and Kate Middleton – $34 Million

The royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton was probably the biggest event in the last decade. The couple tied the knot in 2011 and took place at none other than the historic Westminster Abby. The televised ceremony had an estimate of 2 billion people watching from all over the world. There were a total of three guest lists; the first list had 1,900 people invited to the ceremony, the second list had approximately 600 people invited to the luncheon at Buckingham’s Palace and the third list consisted of 300 to attend a dinner hosted by the Prince of Whales.
