Benedict Cumberbatch is set to portray Marvel’s Doctor Strange, an egotistical neurosurgeon who, after severely injuring his hands in a car accident, decides to travel the world in search of a cure. What he finds instead is a man who teaches him the art of magic, effectively making him a powerful magician and sorcerer. While Doctor Strange is a part of the same universe as the Avengers, he uses his brains and magical abilities to fight enemies unlike most other superheros. Rounding out the cast are Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Eliofor.
