8. Nicole Richie
Nicole Richie got really lucky — and I mean ‘really’ lucky. Nicole was adopted by Lionel Richie as a youngster and has never looked back since. Over the years, Richie took part in several TV-shows, including The Simple Life, but it wasn’t until recently that things were really starting to go well for this socialite. She launched her own collection with QVC, which is said to be doing extremely well in the States, while reality TV has most definitely placed her back in the limelight. Richie’s show Candidly Nicole, a weekly show on VH1 — has been noted to be one of the highest-rated programs on the network in its time-slot. So success and money is coming from all ventures for this woman.
