Gordon finished 11^th on season four of American Idol in 2005. Before performing on the hit reality show, Mikalah sang at the White House as part of the Helen Joy Young Entertainers. She signed a deal with Warner Bros. and guest starred on Fran Drescher’s sitcom Living with Fran. Gordon later became a correspondent for The Tyra Banks Show and co-hosted American IdolExtra for two seasons. She later competed on CMT’s Gone Country in 2008. Gordon currently sings and performs standup comedy in the Los Angeles area. She also appeared in an episode of the TV series The Unit in 2007.
