5. Randy Savage and Elizabeth

The First Couple of Wrestling, they were a fascinating contrast. Savage was the wildman, a great ring worker who could go off in insane promos but back it up with incredible wrestling. Elizabeth was the stunning beauty in evening gowns, often the quiet lady pushed around by Savage but he was intensely protective of her as well. Together, they took off wonderfully as Savage moved from heel to face and back, their wedding in 1991 a major deal. Sadly, they divorced for real in 1992 but worked together later in WCW. Both came to sadly too young ends yet remain beloved by so many fans as one of the best pairings in wrestling history, a real “beauty and the beast” bit that worked wonderfully for so long.
