Body of Major General Idris Alkali has been found (Photo)

After a very lengthy period of search for the body of Rtd. Major General Idris Alkali, the Army, through the leader of the search operation, has revealed that his remains have been found in a well in Shen of Jos South LGA. The recent development was communicated to the public today, Wednesday.

Brigadier General Umar Mohammed, the leader of the search operation, while announcing the development, said there will be a befitting burial for the former Chief of Administration, Nigerian Army headquarters.

Retired Major General Idris Alkali had been declared missing since September 3, 2018, on his way from Abuja to Bauchi en route Jos. The Nigerian Army had last week discovered a shallow grave, in its search of Alkali, who is the immediate past Chief of Administration (Army).
