Adesua Etomi returned to her homeland, Nigeria, in 2012 with no thought of returning to Lagos to stay. She planned to spend three months in her home city before going back to Europe.
But things didn’t work out as she thought. In the UK, Adesua Etomi quit her job because it brought her no satisfaction, and she was longing for something different.
The hearty welcome from Nollywood that loved her and embraced her had won her heart beyond the planned 3 months. And her stay so far has not been fruitless.
She had bagged awards and had become a face to reckon with in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Adesua Etomi beat Genevieve Nnaji, Nse Ikpe Etim, Belinda Effah, to win the 2016 AMVCA “Best Actress” for her role as Muna in the Uduak Isong film, “Falling.”
Her acting talent has brought her great fame and a lot of success.
