Popular American media personality and socialite, Khloe Kardashian, has revealed that she is having a hard time connecting with her newborn son, whom she had through surrogacy.
The socialite welcomed Tatum, her second child with her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson through surrogacy in July 2022.
Speaking during the season 3 premier of Hulu’s ‘The Kardashians’ on Thursday May 25, the reality star disclosed that it didn’t fully register that she was having a child until she arrived at the hospital.
Khloe expressed her mixed emotions about the surrogacy process, saying that it was just business and she feels guilty having another woman give birth to her child.
“I felt really guilty that this woman just had my baby,” Kardashian confessed in a confessional. “I take the baby and go to another room, and you’re sort of separated. It’s such a transactional experience because it’s not about him.” She said.
“I wish someone had been honest about surrogacy and the differences involved,” she said, clarifying that it’s not a negative thing, she added, “It’s still great, just very different,” she added.
During a conversation with her sister Kim Kardashian, who welcomed two of her four children through surrogacy, and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, Khloé admitted that the process had been difficult for her.
“It’s a mind-f-k. It’s really the weirdest thing,” she told them.
