Hours after leaving Abuja, a Nigerian man was involved in a horrifying car accident on the Lafia Expressway in Nasarawa state.
He asserted that he was a member of the mob that booed and drove Lamidi Apapa, the factional chairman of the Labour Party, from the Court of Appeal’s grounds.
The accident victim known as @realYangaB on Twitter gave thanks to God for sparing his life as he came out unhurt.
He shared a series of photos of his damaged car, which veered off the road, and noted that it is beyond repairs.
He wrote; “I cheated death today. I left Abuja after making sure Apapa Lamidi collect wotowoto at the court. On my way to Lafia-Nasarawa State I had an accident.
My car is just beyond repair. I thank God I came out alive.”
