Nigerian music duo Peter and Paul Okoye, better known as, Psquare, have talked about their reunion and the effect it has on how they spend their money.
Psquare, during a recent interview with CNN’s Africa voice change makers, the superstar music duo disclosed that their major aim now is investing in their businesses rather than spending unnecessarily on things they do not need.
Recall that in 2017, after a disagreement, the group went their separate ways over the role of their older brother, Jude Okoye, as their manager.
The brothers, however got back together in 2021, and held their first headline concert after 5 years later that year.
Speaking about their reunion, Peter said;
“What happened is this, if you know anything that happens in a group, it’s the same thing. It doesn’t change the fact that we are humans. We always going to look for that wind of change. Sometimes when things happen, always take the positive part of it and drop the negative parts. Why I said so is that I become more industrious.”
Peter, also known as Mr P, stated that he has learned a lot from his solo career and has invested in many companies.
Peter added;
“In the next year or two, I wanna own the biggest casino in Africa. All of us are into real estate.”
Paul ‘Rudeboy’, on the other hand, revealed that family problems, not music, causes their break up back in 2017.
Paul said;
“Now that we are back together, as more money is coming in I know where I am putting it. But then it was just wristwatches, chains. But now it is different.”
The music duo have been on a world tour since 2022.
