Afrobeats superstar singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has taken to social media to congratulate his uncle, Ademola Adeleke after he was affirmed Governor of Osun state.
The Supreme Court sitting in Abuja on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, affirmed the election of Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as the Governor of Osun State.
An excited Davido took to his Instagram story to celebrate his uncle’s victory while reacting to the supreme court verdict.
The superstar singer wrote;
“It has been a long battle, congratulations to the Osun people, it is indeed freedom time. The battle has been on for years but God has been with us. Congratulations to everyone!@aadeleke_1”
