Promise Wosu Junior, the man who completed the challenging task of trekking from Lekki, Lagos to Port Harcourt, Rivers state, has clarified that he did not end up in a hospital. As you may remember, the young man started the audacious task a few days ago and was met with overwhelming support from Nigerians who encouraged him to reach his destination.
Nevertheless, there were reports on the internet that claimed he ended up in a hospital after completing the task.
In an exclusive interview with LegitNG, the young man clarified that he did not land in a hospital, but rather, he visited a clinic for bed rest after completing the strenuous activity.
Moreover, he disclosed that the governor of Port Harcourt, Simi Fubara, welcomed him to the city.
He said:
“I took the Lekki-epe expressway to Ijebu Ode, then headed Ore-ondo, to Benin – Sapele – Warri- Ugheli – East-West Road, then to Port Harcourt. It was adventurous.”
