Former Real Madrid star Luis Figo is currently the most capped player for Portugal, with 127 appearances throughout his international career. Figo was renowned for his creativity and for his ability to get past through defenders with an ease. Although he won many trophies at club level, and despite winning the 2000 Fifa Ballon d’Or, Luis Figo never got his hand to a major international trophy. At Euro 2004, he just got a silver medal.
