4. Shady Records – Want In? Beat The Master

Eminem started his record label, Shady Records, back in 1999 with his manager, Paul Rosenberg. The record company has signed 10 acts and is currently home to five. Eminem got his start on the streets of Detroit “Rap Battling” against other artists. In order to step up and have a shot at being signed to Shady Records, you have to go up against the master, himself. Up-and-coming artists have to rap battle Eminem as part of the process to be  to be signed. I’d love to be a fly on the wall for those sessions! Awesome.
