“Orji Kalu’s prison sentence is audio, stop fooling us” – Nigerians react as Orji Kalu bags 12years prison sentence

Nigerians have taken to social media to react over the the news of Former governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor Kalu jail sentence.

We had reported earlier that Orji Kalu will spend the next 12years of his life behind bars after a jail sentence of 12 years was served to him by a federal high court in Lagos on Thursday, December 5.

However, many Nigerians have tagged the prison sentence as “Audio”, a word usually used to describe “false”, stating the the man will return to his mansion and the court order will be flouted.

Orji Kalu was found guilty of N7.65bn fraud, in a case that has been observed by the court for about 12years.

The 12 year sentence is the highest among the 39 counts convicting the defendants, the lowest sentence being three years.
