Superstar Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, has shared his perspective on the challenges celebrities and other individuals face by using social media platforms, most especially the issue of cyberbullying.
Sarkodie in a social media post sighted by Ameyaw Debrah Media expressed concerns about the growing trend of toxicity on various social media platforms.
Taken to the micro blogging platform X on November 29, 2023, the ‘Non Living thing’ crooner claimed that only people with a strong mental health can survive trolls on social media.
Sarkodie believes that the platform has changed how people now perceive the world.
The rapper’s statement touch on the intense scrutiny and pressures individuals face in the digital age where social media platforms increase both praise and criticisms.
“Social media changed how we deal with reality … only the strong will survive the mental battle … Note: only use it for what it’s worth” he wrote.
