2. FARMING
A lot of farms are presently springing up in both rural and urban areas in Nigeria. People are investing in both animal husbandry and crop farming, because food is a necessity and people have to feed, the market for products like catfish, eggs and chicken from paltry, pork, etc is very large. Nigerians also have large crop farms that harvest yams, cassava, vegetables and even fruit for immediate consumption. Farming requires quite a lot of capital but the returns supersede the initial cost of investment. The market for farm products can never be saturated because demand outweighs supply.
