A Nigerian man referred to as ‘Tech bro’ has sparked a debate on social media by claiming that Nigerian singer, Rema, was a former Yahoo boy who, in 2017, bought his mother a car with the money he earned through fraudulent activities.
According to the Tech bro, the ‘Calm Down’ crooner, at 17, had bought a land and several other luxurious assets but faced a choice between continuing with scamming business or switching to music.
He claimed that Rema eventually chose music, which has been beneficial for him ever since.
