Wizkid feature on Drake’s ‘One Dance’ – When I heard Drake featured Wizkid on his new song ‘One Dance’, I was super excited for three reasons.

1. Cos I’m a Nigerian and I like to famz the success of anyone who makes us look good.
2. Cos I expected that with Drake and Wizzy’s ‘Ojuelegba’ history, it was going to be an amazing collaboration
3. Of course, I was genuinely excited for Wizkid too.

So you can imagine my genuine disappointment when I listened to the song and it was ‘blehh’.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great jam, for Drake…But what happened to Wizkid, I couldn’t even hear his breath on the song, much less his voice. It was like Kanye featuring D’banjall over again.

Now here’s why we shouldn’t celebrate this Collabo – as it ain’t a big deal in my opinion – according to Nigerian twitter…
