For many celebrities selfies seem to be even more important than some of the most self-obsessed youngsters of today. If you want to create or extend your fanbase in a lot of cases it helps to keep them updated on your life so they won’t forget you and let them into your life so they can both relate and worship you. It just so happens that in a lot of cases the people who get famous happen to be pretty damn hot which make their selfie material a whole lot more appealing than your average subject.
As with similar lists in the past, while putting together our list of the hottest female celebrity selfies of 2016, our principal rule was that the focus of the photo must be famous. Women who work in music, acting, wrestling or modeling were considered equally as long as the woman in question managed to make a name for herself in that medium. We also limited ourselves to one entry per celebrity but we’re not holding back from including women from our first list again. With that aside let’s take a look at some pretty ladies. Of course, the obvious caveat is that we only looked at selfies that were first published in the year 2016 to our knowledge.

One of the Fierce Five, otherwise known as the 2012 US women’s gymnastics team, McKayla won a gold and silver medal at the event while gaining the admiration and attraction of people across the world. Arguably equally known for the meme that sprung from a photo of her where she looked less than impressed, she may have retired from her sport at a young age but her fame hasn’t gone anywhere. This stand out photo of McKayla wearing a tight and cleavage-baring shirt landed on her Instagram in 2016.
