The society is changing and people are starting to follow the dressing mode of the western countries. It is a big shame that we are now in the era of bare it all. Ladies believe they have to go naked and strip themselves before they could look beautiful.
The more flesh you expose, the more sassy you look. That is what many people believe in this generation. Old folks are trying hard to savage what is left of our culture; they are doing all they could to mend the broken culture when it comes to dressing.
The best way the older folks think they could do this is to constantly condemn the mode of dressing adopted by the present day generation. Having stated this, you would understand why it would be so hard to have Nigerian parents as administrators of the program fashion police if a program like that were to be anchored in Nigeria.
Here are some of the remarks you would get from Nigerian parents when they want to criticize the modern day dressing:
1. Why not go naked?
Older folks in Nigeria believe in modesty. The society at large still frowns at certain mode of dressing. A woman whose outfit barely covers the places it ought to cover would be told sarcastically to go naked since she has most of the vital parts opened. A woman’s breasts are supposed to be covered but most of the clothes worn these days aim at revealing the cleavage and parts beyond that.
