11. Trunko The Blob
Trunko is a member of the Globster family, which is a general term used for jelly-like, decaying corpses of creatures that wash ashore. Officially sighted in South Africa in 1924, this creature was described as a “Giant, Fish-Like Polar Bear.”
The creature was reported to have been seen offshore doing battle with two large killer whales. The trio fought for approximately three hours! Obviously, it was not the victor in that confrontation, and its body washed ashore shortly afterward.
Reportedly, it used its tail to strike its attackers and rose from the water about twenty feet. No scientists examined the corpse, so no verified findings have been published on the creature. It is reported having snow-white fur, an elephant trunk and a long lobster like tail. Strangely, it was also reported being completely devoid of blood.
