9 Dick Van Dyke And Arlene Silver

Dick Van Dyke is a star that is known all over the world for his role as Bert in Mary Poppins, back in 1964. Dick is seen as a Disney legend, has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame back in 1995. The legendary actor has been a memorable face since the early 1950s and during that time he has been married twice and has four children from his first union.

Dick married Margerie Willett in 1948 and they remained together for almost four decades before they divorced in 1984. Van Dyke then lived with longtime companion Michelle Triola for 30 years before she lost her battle with lung cancer back in 2009. The actor then married makeup artist Arlene Silver three years later. Arlene is 46 years younger than the former dancer, singer, and writer but the couple had met six years earlier at the SAG Awards and hit it off. Silver is now just 52 years old, which is more than a decade younger than Van Dyke’s oldest son Barry, who’s 66, but Arlene told Parade magazine that despite the huge age gap between them, their “love is ageless.”

My friends said, ‘What could you possibly have in common with a person that’s 30 years younger than you?’ I told them, ‘Everything.'”Incredibly Shawna is just a year younger than Lamas’ daughter Shayne and three years younger than his oldest son AJ. The 30-year-old even acted as a surrogate for her step daughter’s child, who was born back in 2015. The couple decided to call him Lyon, but this also means that Shawna gave birth to her own grandchild, which is slightly hard to comprehend.
