One reason that Cardi has so many dedicated female fans is because she is truly all about girl power. She wants to see women accomplish great things, and while she might not fit the typical idea of feminist, she does not really care. According to Bossip.com, Cardi does proudly call herself a feminist, and she wants her female fans to work hard in order to provide for themselves instead of relying on men. Basically, she is all about women choosing what they want to do with their lives and empowering other women to be strong and independent.

And to the people who say that she can’t possibly be a feminist, according to Madame Noire, Cardi definitely has a response for them! There was no way that she could be quiet. She says that to her, being a feminist is simply about believing that men and women should be equal, so really, who wouldn’t want to support that? She feels that that’s the final word on the matter. Most importantly, she says that no matter what people think of her, she is going to continue supporting and encouraging all of the amazing women in her life in addition to her female fans.

1 She Doesn’t Care What Anyone Else Thinks Of Her

Cardi B has made it clear from day one that she is not here to please anyone else. Nope, she’s going to do her own thing, and if you’re into it, that’s cool, and if not, that’s fine with her, too. She believes in herself and that’s what really matters. And if she didn’t have that attitude, she probably would not have made it this far! According to The Fader, Cardi has never had any interest in pretending to be someone she’s not. She came into her career with the mindset that she was not going to change herself just fit some industry standard of how she should act. If she couldn’t make it without being herself, why bother?

She wanted to put her real self out there, and she knew that this would earn her far more fans than trying to be a cookie cutter celeb and fit in with the crowd.

If there is anything that makes Cardi B the new Nicki, it’s this quality. Just like Nicki was authentic from the beginning, so is Cardi. And we have enough people out there today who are scared to be themselves. Cardi is like a breath of fresh air.
