Being in midst of prisoners is better than sitting with politicians – Seun Kuti

Controversial Afrobeats star, Seun Kuti, thinking about the time he spent with some prisoners while being detained by the police for slapping a security operative at the Third mainland bridge in Lagos.

The musician who is presently in Zurich, Switzerland, to kick start the European leg of his tour amid ongoing court case with the police. His lawyers have defended the trip, saying that he is currently not being prosecuted in court by the Nigeria Police Force or any other prosecuting authority.

Seun Kuti, while reflecting on the time he spent with prisoners revealed that it is better better being on the cold floor with prisoners than being in the devil’s house with politicians.

He wrote;

“Dem put me for hard cold floor, in the midst of prisoners still better than sitting in the devils house with politicians.”
