Former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro has condemned the stoning of APC Presidential Candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari on Friday in Lagos. General Buhari was in Lagos State for the APC presidential rally when we was pelted with stones by an irate mob around Idumagbo, Isale-Eko area of Lagos State.

Senator Obanikoro in a statement he personally signed on Friday called on Lagosians to eschew violence. “The stoning of APC Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari today in Lagos is utterly condemnable. The 2015 presidential polls must be about issues and sportsmanship moderated with every sense of decency and civility,” he said.
Senator Obanikoro called on Lagosians to accord General Muhammadu Buhari the respect he deserves throughout the period of his stay in Lagos State.
