The 72-year old grandfather identified as Deepak Singh,was said to have collapsed at his home in the city of Bhilwada, Rajasthan, in India in front of his horrified family after he went to feed their cows.

His grandson, Banda Nalwa, 26, revealed that a local doctor had confirmed him dead and started preparing for his funeral ceremony in accordance with their traditions.

IBCWorld News reports on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 that the family gathered around the corpse and began their death wail, which is the usual goodbye ritual to a loved one.
They also gathered combustible materials especially one for burning a corpse, as part of the funeral ceremony according to the Hindu religion.
“As the noise of the wailing became louder I suddenly saw my grandfather move. At first, I thought it was my imagination, but he then opened his eyes,” Nalwa said.
With the help of his uncle Gulshan, 56, The man was immediately helped out of the funeral pyre.
Nalwa said that they were lucky not to have set the man on fire before he resurrected.
After rising from the pyre, the man said, “I know I might be annoying, but to this extent that you declared me dead.”
