The 1999 movie The Blair Witch Project, directed by Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sánchez proved not only how a low budget film can be a commercial success, but also how a trailer can contribute to the success of a film. The film earned 11 times its budget. The trailer if the film was a sheer a short horror movie and the audience could not wait to grab more of it.
