Edgar Davids, the popular Dutch footballer, couldn’t escape the nandrolone hype back in the early 2000s. Davids, dubbed Pitbull for his fierce style of play, failed a drug test in 2001 and tested positive for the steroid nandrolone. At the time he was playing for Juventus, and he faced a two-year ban. But fortunately for him, the ban was reduced to just four months. Davids is still one of the most popular players in Netherlands.
