Whether or not you’re a fan of Megan Fox ’s acting ability or the films she’s starred in, her sexiness factor is simply undeniable. Since she entered the world of acting, she’s made a memorable mark in films, most likely due to her striking beauty. It all began for Megan when she showed off her youthful acting skills by playing villainous high school roles. Of her first roles in the early 2000s were “tween” movies including Holiday in the Sun alongside the Olsen twins, and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen opposite Lindsay Lohan.

As she grew older, she went on to movie roles that allowed her to better tap into her inherent sex appeal. And, it worked for her. She monopolized on her beauty and landed roles in blockbusters such as Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Once her acting career had really taken off, Megan began getting worldwide notoriety for her stunning appearance. For instance, she’s been featured many times in various “Hot” lists, including becoming a fixture in Maxim magazine’s Hot 100 list every year from 2007 to 2010. Also, FHM readers voted Megan the “Sexiest Woman in the World” in 2008. And, while her acting has certainly progressed over the years – making way for her to add more comedic flair to her roles than ever before – her looks are arguably what she’s still best known for.

Megan’s role in this 2008 British film was as sexy as ever. She played Sophie, a budding starlet who – for the large majority of the film – is the object of affection for the main character, Toby Young. The film was loosely based on the real life Toby Young’s memoir of the same name. It follows the main character’s five-year struggle to make it in the U.S., and being employed at an upscale magazine in New York City. Fans of Megan’s body got to see plenty of it in an underwear scene, and memorable (clothed) pool scene.

The movie is said to have helped push Megan into roles that allowed for her to be a little funnier than usual, especially when compared to her earlier, more serious roles. Ultimately, though, the movie didn’t sit well with critics or U.S. audiences, and scored very low on Rotten Tomatoes, despite a stellar performance from Megan.

The 2010 film Jonah Hex was sadly another movie that didn’t fair so well for Megan with critics or audiences, and was widely considered a box office bomb. However, the role did require Megan to wear a bustier, bringing in a niche audience looking to pine over a voluptuous appearance by Megan. It’s safe to say her sex appeal was more than apparent throughout the entire film, which was classified as a science fiction western. She played Lilah, a gun-wielding prostitute who is attracted to disfigured men. She was the love interest of the main character, Jonah Hex, and played the part memorably, even if only in a not-so-memorable film.

Unfortunately, the film was named “Worst Picture” of the year at the Houston Film Critic Society’s 2010 awards ceremony, and Megan was nominated for “Worst Actress” that year at the 31 st Annual Golden Raspberry Awards.

In 2010, in her first and only (so far) Judd Apatow film, Megan played Desi, a stereotypical “hot girl” who works in a clothing story belonging to one of the main characters played by Leslie Mann. Her memorable scenes included one with Leslie in a dressing room, and another when the two characters head out to a nightclub together. It’s revealed later on in the movie that Megan’s character is also an escort, in addition to working in the store. Though she comes off young and superficial early on in the film, her character gets some more layers throughout, and Megan was again praised for her comedic performance. It was also one of her sexiest roles yet. She was even groped by Leslie’s character while in a bra during the dressing room scene.

In one of Megan’s first major movie roles, she played sexy and confident Carla, a high school “mean girl” of sorts, in the film Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. This 2004 movie starred Lindsay Lohan, whose character was at odds throughout the film with Carla, the most popular girl in school.

Though Megan was just a teenager while this film was being made, she drew people in with her looks, and fans began to quickly notice her. Though it would be a few years until she was really put on the map as a sex icon in Transformers , her role in this tween movie certainly started to open up doors for her. It didn’t hurt that the film stood her beside Lindsay Lohan, who – with the smash hit Mean Girls that same year – was at the peak of her career.

In the 2011 film, Friends With Kids, Megan’s character – Mary Jane – is a young actress who dates Adam Scott’s character, Jason – an advertising executive and single father. They date for a while and move in together, before ultimately separating over their differing views on children. Megan’s character is a point of jealously for the female lead character, as she is young, beautiful and dating the lead character’s love interest.

While Megan doesn’t have many over-the-top sexy moments in this film, her beauty is still undeniable, and her ability to draw audiences into this mediocre film with her looks helps secure the Mary Jane role on this list.

While the movie did not receive positive critic feedback, it’s hard to not include 2010’s Passion Play on the list of Megan’s sexiest appearances, if only for the fact that she continuously stunned everyone from scene-to-scene in gorgeous, and often revealing, outfits. In the film she played Lily, a freak show performer who has wings on her back. Actor Mickey Rourke – who also starred in the film – said he, himself, was not thrilled with the movie, but noted Megan was one of the best leading ladies he’s had the chance to work with.

Critics and audiences, as a collective whole, pretty much despised the film and Rotten Tomatoes scored it at just 3 per cent. One reviewer went as far as to call it “an absolute train wreck.” But, similarly to other films she’s appeared in, while it wasn’t bolstered as a fan favorite, she still looks outstanding.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans were more than excited for the release of this feature film in 2014, but many were shocked to find the movie’s real focus was not the turtles – Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, or Raphael, but rather, Megan’s character, April. And fans of Megan would argue that it was rightfully so. She looked as striking as ever playing her role – a character who is an investigative journalist looking into a crime wave in her area. The film was mostly a success for Megan and the rest of the cast and crew, and opened first place in the box office on its opening weekend.

The film brought over $65 million that week, which was over $20 million more than anticipated. While audiences were, in fact, going to see the film, some critics weren’t die-hards fans. Overall, though, it became one of Megan’s most successful (and attractive) performances.

Many would agree the 2009 movie Jennifer’s Body – a comedy/horror – was borderline horrible, but it didn’t stop Megan’s fans from watching as her character, Jennifer, in all sorts of sexy attire. She was praised for her acting in the film, where she transformed from a typical popular girl to a demonic version of the same character. Her acting performance was praised for being funny, sexy and often scary.

Fans of Megan’s were excited to see a lot of her body in this movie – from a swimming scene, to petite school outfits, and more. Criticism was mixed on the film, but top critic Roger Ebert did say he enjoyed the movie, and called it “Twilight for boys.” He went on to say “as a movie about a flesh-eating cheerleader, it’s better than it has to be.”

First there was Transformers (we’ll get to that), but after the original was a very sexy and successful sequel performance from Megan in the film’s follow up in 2009. She is remembered for her sultry introduction scene in this movie, where she is resting strategically on a motorcycle in the shortest of shorts. In this film, similar to the first, she played Mikaela, the girlfriend of the film’s main character, Sam, played by Shia LaBeouf. This was the last film in the movie series to star Megan’s character, as it is rumored she had a feud with the movie’s director, Michael Bay, and publicly noted working under Michael was similar to working under Hitler.

While the first film was well received, the sequel experienced a great deal of negative feedback (in addition to some positive movie award nominations). In a year-end Moviefone poll, the film was voted the worst film of 2009. Again, it didn’t change the fact that Megan delivered an utterly hot performance.

The first Transformers film in 2007 really broke Megan into the mainstream; the film that made her a household name as a sex symbol. Her character was a cross between a girl next door, and an unattainable ideal, which she was blatantly perfect to play. And, similar to her introduction scene in the film’s sequel, Megan’s first scene in Transformers was eye-catching and memorable, and showed her bending over into the hood of a car while wearing a tiny outfit.

Her role as Mikaela in this film put her on the map for acting, as well, and scored her an MTV Movie Award nomination for “Best Breakthrough Performance” and received two nominations for Teen Choice Awards. While she originally signed on to appear in two follow-up films, she – unfortunately for fans – only ended up appearing in the second installment.
