2. Jimmy Fallon
In twenty years, we as a nation will have the same relationship towards Jimmy Fallon as our folks have towards Merv Griffin and Johnny Carson. We’ll think: “Those were great days in talk television.” But also, there’s an obvious similarity between those men: they’re all vaguely yet unthreateningly handsome, white, and with names so un-ethnic even they sometimes wonder: “Which one is he, again?” Take a look at Jimmy Fallon in high school, from the cheap haircut to the whiskery moustache to the 99c clothes, he doesn’t seem anything like the extra polished, quick-on-his-feet talk show host we know today, having cut on his teeth on the world’s longest running sketch comedy show.
